MFT August Teasers Day 1

Hi Everyone! I am getting back into the swing of things here! I have missed stamping and what is better than a new release to get the mojo going! Today is Day 1 of MFT'S August Release Teasers! Today we are previewing Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy and By the Numbers. You can stop by Kim's Blog for the list of designers sharing projects today.


My card uses the new By the Numbers Die-namics and Stamp Set and the smaller die from the new Open Scallop Doily Duo.

I stamped the polka dotted background and then cut out the twos with the die. I cut two "two's" in red cardstock and placed them behind the polka dotted background. Then I stamped "Happy Birthday" and "nd". I added stitching, Baker's Twine in Maraschino Red and lace. My scalloped border is cut with the Simply Scallop Medium Die. My papers are Cosmo Crickett Odd's n' Ends.


I mounted my "twos" on the smaller of the Open Scallop Doily and then I ran more Bakers Twine through the holes cut by the die.


On the inside I stamped a sentiment and add "twos" cut with the die.

    Great minds. When I first saw the set I thought it would be best for kids. Seconds later I realized it was much more versatile than that. Great job on the card!

    Love this! Normally you only get one of each number if you buy a die cut sticker set...love how you can cut as many "2's" with the dies as we please!
