MFT December Teasers Day 1

It is Day 1 of MFTeasers for December. Today we are sharing projects with three new stamp sets, Clearly Sentimental About Teaching, Tweeny Teen - You Give Me Wings, and Textile Rectangle Frame Stamp Set. Stop by Kim's Blog at 11:00 am EST for the list of all the designers sharing project today.

My first card today uses the new Textile Rectangle Frame Stamp Set.

I used the houndstooth frame, a sentiment from the set, and the new die for my main image. I use the Perfect Edge Bracket Die for my top border and added stitching, ribbon, and a button tied with twine.

I used the same combination on the inside and stamped another sentiment from the set.

For my next card I used Clearly Sentimental About Teaching.

I used the Framed Greeting Die and Stamp Set and then stamped on of the sentiments from Clearly Sentimental About Teaching. I used the Stacking Star Die for my stars and added rhinestones to the centers. Stitching and twill finish off the card.

On the inside I used another sentiment from the stamp set and one more star.

  17. These are so gorgeous! I was oohing and aahing over the first (love the houndstooth with the vintage print), and then scrolled and saw the second. Love it as a card, but I'm so thinking I can adapt the colors and design to a scrapbook layout. Thanks for the amazing inspiration!
