MFTeasers Day 5

Today is the last day of the March MFTeaser. Today we are previewing Who's That Birthday Girl, Invitation Only, and Clearly sentimental about Birthdays. Be sure to stop by Kim's Blog today after 11am to see the full list of designers with previews today.

And then be sure to join us for the release party at 8:00 pm EST in the MFT forum at Splitcoaststampers.

I really LOVE this month's Who's That Girl. It is just perfect for so many occasions. Today I made a card with a matching gift card holder.

For the card, the skirt is paper pieced, and then I stamped the cake on patterned paper, cut it out, and popped it up and added rhinestones. For the sentiment I cut a circle from Kraft paper, stamped the candle around the edge, and then sponged the edge with distressing ink. The sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Birthdays set. Then I stitched around the edges, and added lace strung with twine for the Bakery Blend Ribbon collection.

The sentiment on the inside is also from the Clearly Sentimental About Birthday and is just one of the many wonderful sentiments included in the set.

Here is the gift card holder I made from a small kraft envelope. I paper pieced the cake, added candles, and then the rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you back here tomorrow night for the Hop and Shop blog hop!
