Creating a Winter Scene with Papertrey. Ink

Hi All! I am up on the Papertrey Ink Blog today with a new What Do I Do with that? Challenge. I am sharing my tips for creating a winter scene with Embossing Powder, Stickles, and white paint.

To create the winter scene I used the Sweet Scenes: Winter Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. (All the products are linked below.) I stamped the mountains in Versamark Ink on Classic Kraft Cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. On top of the embossing I added some glitter with Stickles™ Glitter Glue Star Dust. Stickles are an easy way to add glitter to a project with the mess.

I also added glitter to the larger two trees, bottoms of the clouds and the edges of the hills of snow. Once I had the scene laid out I splattered white paint on the scene to give the look of falling snow.

The pinecones and greenery are created with the Corner It: Festive Holiday Stamp Set and Die. I added Stickles to the greenery too. The sentiment is from the Inside Greetings: Snow Stamp Set.
