Taylored Expression December Sneak Peeks - It's All about the Hearts!

Welcome to Day 3 of Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks. I have two cards to share with you today that would not only be great for Valentine's Day but a great way to tell someone how special they are throughout the year.

I used the new Floating Hearts Cutting Plate to create the background for my card. I cut the plate from Sugar Cube Card Stock and just added a panel of Cherry Pop Card Stock behind the hearts. I decided to highlight one heart with a glitter red card stock. I also highlighted a few of the hearts with distress ink. Quick and easy, and I love the look! 

I added a sentiment for the new All You Need is Love Stamp Set. The sentiment is stamped in Sugar Cube Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I finished a the card with a few sequins.

I used the second cutting plate being released this month, the Falling Hearts Cutting Plate, for the card background on my second card. After cutting the background I used the Mason Jar Die to cut a mason jar directly into the card front and added card stock, sponged with Salt Water Taffy Ink, behind the  jar. Then I stamped a jar with Mason Jar Stamp and die cut the jar with the Mason Jar die. Behind the open portion of the jar I added acetate. 

Next I stamped and die cut hearts with the new Filled with Love Stamp & Die Combo. The die in this set will cut out all 9 of the hearts at one time! I dropped the hearts in and attached the jar over the hearts. The tag is cut with the Tag Stacklets 3 and attached it with twine.
