MFT's 5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash Day 2 - Stencil

Welcome to Day 2 of MFT's 5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash! I hope you enjoyed yesterday's ideas for storing and organizing your stamps sets. Today we are sharing ideas to tame your stencils.

You can stop by the MFT blog for the list of designers sharing ideas today.

I store my stencils in this container I got at Target. It has a handle on it so I carry it over to my desk whenever I need it.

Here is a closer look at the label I created for the front of my bin using my label maker, the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX and an arrow in the Go with It Die-namics.

The dividers are cut from Sno Cone Card Stock and I rounded the upper two corners. I used my label maker to add titles to each each section. Here's a look at the categories I group my stencils in so I can find what I am looking for easily.

Behind the stencils I store some of my favorite supplies to used with stencils.

This is my favorite embossing paste. It adds dimension but not thickness and does leak under the stencil too often. I store two palette knives to spread the paste and some old room keys or gift card to scrap off excess paste and put it back int the jar. I also keep a Mini Ink Blending Tool to sponge on ink with my stencils. The Mini Ink Blending Foam Pads are stored next to the ink pad I have used it with.

My stencils sit on top of this storage unit. Clean, neat, and pretty makes me happy!

Stop by the MFT blog for all details about the great prize packages that will be given away each of the five days.

If you have any questions for me, please email me using the link on my side bar. Thanks for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with another organizational post.
