Tim Holtz's October Tag - Treats

I had a little time just to play this weekend and decide to give Tim Holtz's October Tag for 2014 a try, something I have been wanting to do for ages! I gave my tag a little bit more of a feminine feel because I plan to tie the tag on bag that will go to one of adult daughters.

To create the background I sponged Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink on a Manila Tag. Then I used the Gothic Stencil and black embossing paste to lay down the pattern. Once the embossing paste was dry I added a little more color with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink.

Then I sprayed the background with Antiqued Bronze Distress Spray Stain. The photo does not do the spray justice. It is so pretty in person and added the perfect amount of shine.

The bottle and pumpkin are from the Mini Blueprints 5 Stamp Set. I added color with Copic Markers, cut the images out and added a coat of Glossy Accents. It was so fun to experiment!!

Thanks for stopping by!
