Color Throwdown #282 - Good Times

Thanks for stopping by for Color Throwdown 281! It's Vickie's turn this week to host the challenge! She has chosen bright, happy, fun colors for us to work with this week.

I hope you get a chance to play along for a chance to be next week's Guest Star Stamper!

I also want to take a moment to welcome our month long Guest Designer, Gloria Stengel. You can find her inspiring blog at Scraps of Life. She is super talented and I am lucky to call her my friend!

I have another scrapbook page to share with you this week based on the color combo.

The picture is from a Parent Weekend at the University of Arizona.

The embellishment at the top is created with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, the Dainty Doily Duo Die-namics, and the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I also added a MFT Button in Lemon Drop.

The cute camera is cut with the Cute Cameras 2 Die-namics and "LOVE" with the Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics. Any patterned paper is from Simple Stories.

I used the Delicate Doily Stencil to add pattern to background.

I used another sentiment from the Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics at the top of the page. The hearts are cut with the Heart STAX Die-namics from Wild Cherry Card Stock, and then I added a coat of  Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze.

Here I used the Little Letters Die-namics to spell out U of A. The football is cut with a die in the  All-Star Die-namics.

You do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge,  just use the closest you have.  Use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD2812.  Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
