MFT's May Release New Product Tour

Hello and thanks for stopping by! The MFT Design Team is taking you on a tour of all the new May products that are available now in the MFT Boutique. You can find all the new products right HERE!

For my project today,  I am showcasing then new Mini Album Square Scallop STAX Die-namics, along with a number of other new Die-namics and Stamp Set being released this month.  I created a mini album for one of my daughters who is living out of state right now.

Let's start with the cover! I used the largest die in the Mini Album Square Scallop STAX Die-namics for each page of my mini album. There are some pages I wanted to be a little stronger than just paper, so I cut a piece of light weight chipboard with the die and then adhered my card stock to the chipboard. For the cover I used Kraft Card Stock, Black Licorice Ink and new MPD Distressed Background Blocks Stamp Set to create the pattern.

I created the "perfect" title for the album with words from the LLD Document It - Expand Your View Stamp Set. It is cut out with the Oval STAX Die-namics and mounted on corrugated paper cut with the new Heirloom Label Die-namics, and then the Die-namics Oval Dainty Doily.

I used the Eiffel Tower Die-namics , cut from light weight chipboard and coated with black Glossy Accents.

All my lettering throughout the album are created with the By the Letters Uppercase and the By the Letters Die-namics. The sentiment is from the LLD Document It - Captured Memories Stamp Set.

I love adding lots of texture to my projects. The page on the left is cut from patterned canvas. Any patterned paper used in the album is from Simple Stories 24/7 paper pad.

On the left I created a flower with the Pretty Posies Die-namics and Wild Cherry Card Stock. The senitment is from  LLD Document It - Captured Memories Stamp Set and the background pattern is created with another stamp in the MPD Distressed Background Blocks Stamp Set .

Throughout the album I added little journaling pages with the Mini Album Square Scallop STAX Die-namics. This one is cut from cork. The lines are stamped with a stamp included in the LLD Journal It - For the Record Stamp Set and the titles on the journal pages are stamped with titles from the LLD Journal It - Graph Paper Notes.

On the right, the sentiment is from  LLD Document It - Captured Memories  Stamp Set and the arrow is cut from corrugated paper with a die from the Lead the Way Die-namics.

The sentiment on the left page is from the LLD Journal It - Top Ten Stamp Set and cut out with dies from the LLD Accent It - Flags & Tags Die-namics.

Here I cut the page from burlap. I added a heart with a die from the Heart STAX Die-namics and the sentiment is from  LLD Document It - Captured Memories. I also added a MFT Button in Wild Cherry.

Here I used one of LLD Accent It - Story Titles Die-namics. Love them!

And on the left page I used another LLD Accent It - Story Titles Die-namics. On the page on the right I stamped directly on to the cork with the another stamp from the MPD Distressed Background Blocks Stamp Set.

Here the sentiment is from the My Favorite Sentiments Stamp Set.

And here is the last page! The page is cut from canvas and I used Kraft Ink and the new Mini Chicken Wire Stencil to create the pattern. The sentiment is created with stamps from the  LLD Document It - Expand Your View Stamp Set. The arrow is another die in the  Lead the Way Die-namics.

Hope you enjoyed the May release as much as I have! Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for list of all the designers sharing projects today with all the new products. And when you are ready to start shopping you can find all the new products right HERE!
