MFT's March Scrap Challenge - Aloha

Welcome to the MFT March Scrap Sketch!

Each month we will provide a sketch for a scrapbook page. Simply follow the sketch and upload your creation to SCS using the proper keyword MFTSCRAP6.

There will be a random draw each month from all the participants who have uploaded their Scrap Samples to SCS using the proper keyword. Two winners will be chosen each month and the winners will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winner used MFT stamps, they will receive $ 5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20.

Check out the FAQ - MFT Scrapbooking Challenge thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your sample to the gallery.

The photo is of two of my daughters and two of the cousins on vacation in Maui. The girl cousins in my family are so close to each other. I love that!

My papers are from Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm. My flowers are created with the Hibiscus Die-namics, so perfect for the photo. The "Aloha" Title is cut with the By the Letters Die-namics.

The layout has two circles cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics from corrugated paper. Here I added a leaf, cut with the Hibiscus Die-namics from MFT Card Stock in Gum Drop Green, and a couple of small sea shells.

The sentiment is from LLD Document It - Captured Memories Stamp Set. I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to cut out the sentiment and the larger burlap flag.

I added MFT buttons in Lemon Drop to the center of my flowers and threaded them with Hemp Cord. I used the Catch a Wave Die-namics to add the border of waves and then just tore a strip of kraft card stock for the sand.

The sentiments in this corner are from LLD Document It - Off the Chart Stamp Set.

Here I stamped sentiments from LLD Document It - Captured Memories Stamp Set and cut them out with dies in the LLD Accent It - Flags & Tags Die-namics.

Thanks for stopping by! You can stop by the MFT blog for the list of all the designers that are sharing scrapbook pages today. I hope you get a chance to play along with the sketch challenge. It is a fun one!
