Sugar Pea Designs

If you are like me you are running around this week finishing up all the holiday preparations! I have two more days of work and then I am off until after New Years. Yeah! It is my year to host Christmas Dinner, 27 people! 

But I did want to pop in and share my last card as a Guest Designer for Sugar Pea Designs. It has been an honor to design along with the Sugar Pea Design Team and work with some fun, new products. Thanks so much for having me! 


I created this card with the Whisky Business Stamp Set and coordinating Whisky Business Sugar Cuts.  I colored all the stamped images with Copic Markers.


The great sentiment is from the Whisky Business Stamp Set and die cut with the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Circles. Sequins, twine, and a doily finish off the card.

You Make Life Sweet

Hi Everyone! I am popping in today with a shaker card I made with a newly released stamp set from Sugar Peas Designs, Whisky Business.


All the images in this stamp set are so cute! I colored the sweet chef with Copic Markers and added black gel pen to the buttons. She is die cut with the coordinating Whisky Business Sugar Cuts.


The background of the shaker portion of the card is watercolored and then I stamped a sentiment from the Whisky Business Stamp Set. I used foam tape to form the shaker, dropped in sequins and added a piece of acetate between the layers of card stock.

Sugar Pea Designs Creative Color Challenge #7

I am playing along with the Sugar Pea Designs Creative Color Challenge today. It is a really pretty color combination!


The wreath is created with the Funky Wreath – All Seasons Stamp Set and the SugarCuts – Funky Wreath All Seasons. I tied a bow at the top and added clear rhinestones to the wreath. 

The circle behind the wreath is die cut with the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Circles. 


The sentiment is from the Funky Wreath – Christmas. I stamped the sentiment is a pigment ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. The pattern paper is from the Christmas Wonderland 6 x 6 Paper Pad - Carta Bella.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge Reminder- Foxy

There is still time to join us in the Foxy Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge !  You have until November 25th at 8:00 AM CDT to be inspired and share your project!


Here's my take on the challenge. 


I didn't have any Foxy stamps or dies in my stash but I did come across paper with cute, little foxes! The top portion of the card is embossed with the Bead Board Embossing Folder from Taylored Expressions and I added gold, glitter tape across the center. 


The wreath is created with the Funky Wreath – All Seasons Stamp Set and the coordinating SugarCuts – Funky Wreath All Seasons. The background of the circle is watercolored and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Sugar Pea Designs SPD22 - Home for the Holidays

It’s time for the monthly theme challenge over the the Sugar Pea Designs Blog. This month the theme is Home for the Holidays. 

For the challenge I created three quick and easy tags that will dress up any package or gift bag. 


I used the Gift Tag – Sugar Cuts Die for the base of all three cards.


I colored one of the cute elves from the Merry Makers Stamp Set with Copic Markers and die cut the stamped image with the coordinating Merry Makers Sugar Cuts. The elf is layered on a circle cut with the Zig Zag Stitched Circles Sugar Cuts.

The sentiment strip and "to" are included in the Gift Tag – Sugar Cuts Die.


My second tag is stamped with the new Santa's Gift Tag Stamp Set with coordinates with the Gift Tag – Sugar Cuts Die.


On the last tag I stamped a sentiment from the Funky Wreath – Christmas Stamp Set in Delicate Golden Glitz Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. The holly leaves are cut with die in the SugarCuts – Funky Wreath Christmas.

Sugar Pea Designs Sugar Sketch 32

I am playing along today with the Sugar Pea Designs Sugar Sketch #32. I am using the new Merry Makers Stamp Set and Dies. 

Here's my take on the sketch: 


The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Cozy Christmas 6 x 6 paper pad. The sentiment is from the Merry Makers Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder.


The cute elf is color with Copic Markers and then die cut with the SugarCuts – Merry Makers.  The card is finished off with a glittered star, ribbon, and sequins.

Sugar Peas Designs Sweet Peeks - Day 5

Today I have a couple of projects to share created with the new Santa's Gift Tag. This stamp set is prefect for creating quick and easy tags for all your holiday gifts. 


The box is wrapped in kraft paper that I stamped with the snowflake die in the new Funky Wreaths - Christmas Stamp Set. I love a pretty package! 

I love having handmade tags ready to go when the holidays get here! This tag also holds a gift card. The Santa's Gift Tag is the perfect center piece! Just write the recipient's name and it is ready to go!!
