The Papertrey Ink August Release Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown.  All the new products will be available on August 27th at 10 PM ET.

My first card features the Sweet as Pie Dies. This is such a cute die set! You can create so many different kinds of pies. Today I went with a pumpkin pie and a chocolate pie.

I used Canyon Clay and Antique Linen cardstock for the for the pie and a little shading with ink. I used Copic Markers to add the detail to the whip cream along with Stickles in Star Dust and Gold. I added the floral details with the previously released Fresh Florals Stamp Set

The center panel is die cut with the new Love to Layer: Pinked Edges Die.  Notice the background pattern. It is created with the new Cover Plate: Handmade Quilt Die.

The background is stenciled with the Fall Leaves Stencil and the sentiments are from the new This is Big: Thankful Stamp Set and Die.

This card is created with the new Reflections: August Stamp Set and Die and the Cornered: Sunflower Dies.

I stamped the sentiment on Vellum with Versamark Ink and embossed with Copper Embossing Powder. I used the Reflections: August Dies to die cut the vellum and the smaller white rectangle. I place the white cardstock behind the embossing to help the sentiment stand out.
