I am back for Day 2 of the Ink to Paper February Release Sneak Peeks. Today I have some beautiful floral cards to share with you. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EDT on January 20th
First up is a look at the Lush Blooms Stamp Set and Dies. This is a large, beautiful flower that is stamped in three layers. I started with Spring Rain Ink, followed by Blueberry Sky, and then added the final highlights with Enchanted Evening Ink. The stem and leaves are stamped with Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, and Olive Twist Inks.
I stamped Stampers Select White Cardstock with Versamark Ink and the Nifty Plaid Stamp Set, then embossed with white embossing powder. Then I blended Spring Rain Ink over the white cardstock and the embossed background. The sentiment is included in the stamp set. I added machine stitching down the side with white thread and tie a bow with twine on the stem.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the new Inside Greeting: Blooms Stamp Set.
My next project showcases the new Pop-Up Envelope Dies and the Pop-Up Florals Stamp Set and Dies. This is such a fun combination of stamps and dies! I started by cutting the envelope for Classic Kraft Cardstock and then folded at the score lines. I stamped a variety of flowers and leaves with the new Pop-Up Florals Stamp Set and die cut with Pop-Up Floral Dies. I strung a gingham ribbon around the card to hold it shut.
Once you untie the bow the card will begin to open and the flowers will pop up.
I covered the bottom of the card with Bitty Big: Aqua Mist Color Collection and a panel die cut with the largest die in the Love to Layer: Notched Die. This covers the seams created when putting the card together.
On this card I had the flowers pop up at different levels. The Pop-Up Envelope Dies included dies to create the pop up strips.
The sentiment is from the Just Sentiments: Blooms Stamp Set. I finished off with a few sequins for a little bling.
Here is another example with a different color palette. I cut the envelope from Bitty Big: Aqua Mist Color Collection and tie with a crinkle ribbon in a pale yellow.
I used the Border Bling: Tin Stitch Die for the bottom of this card. On the popped up flower I glued the leaves to the back of flower.
The sentiment is from the Pop-Up Florals Stamp Set.
Thanks for taking a look! I will be back tomorrow for Day 3 of sneak peeks. Stop by the Papertrey Blog for more more inspiration with the new products.
