Pretty Pink Posh June Release Blog Hop - Day 1

Hi and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh June Release Blog Hop! We are really excited to be releasing new stamp sets and dies inspired by Summer, new jewels, and four new stencils!

I have two cards to share with you today. The first one features the new Hibiscus Flowers Stamp Set.


I stamped the flowers and leaves on watercolor paper in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The images are colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut with the Hibiscus Flowers Coordinating Dies. 


I created the background with the new Tropical Background Stencil. I cut a piece of pink cardstock for the card front and added a strip of white cardstock in the middle. Then I used the stencil with a light pink ink. The sentiment is die cut with the new Aloha Shaker Die. I cut a circle in the middle of the card and then attached the sentiments. I arranged the flowers and leaves around the Aloha Die and finished off the flowers with jewels from the pretty new Citrus Jewels Mix. 

My second card is created with the new Beach Scene Die and the new Triangles Stencil. I just cut the dies a number of times from different colored cardstock and then inlayed the pieces in the circle. So cute!


I used a blending tool and ink with the the stencil to create the background. The sentiment is from the Tropical Birds Stamp Set, stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

    I love both of what you made, but the Hibiscus is stunning. I think it would make a beautiful addition on the front of a handmade wedding invitation especially if it was a tropical theme or if you were actually honeymooning in Hawaii. Great new release and great hop. Even better inspiration.
