CAS(E) This Sketch #173 - Guest Designer
I am excited to be Guest Designing for the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge this week! CTS is definitely one of my favorite challenge blogs and I stop by often for inspiration.
I watercolored the background with Distress Inks. The stamps and dies are from Taylored Expressions. The sentiment is from the Go Beep Stamp Set.
The On the Road - Beetle die cuts the cutest little car! The road is created with the Build a Scene - On the Road Die and the Little Bits - Sun and Clouds Die adds additional detail.
Stop by the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog for all the details and more inspiration! Hope you get a chance to play along.

RV We There Yet?
Hi and thanks for stopping by my blog today! I have a card to share that I created with the new RV We There Yet? Stamp Set and the ever so cute On the Road - Camper Die.
First I worked on creating the the background scene for the card front. The water is created with the new Lakeside Border Die, watercolor paper and watercolor paints. The hill is cut from Granny Smith Card Stock with the Build-a-Scene Rolling Hills Die. The sky is also watercolored.
I used the Little Bits Clouds and Sun Die to add the clouds and the Build a Scene - Trees to add the tree to the background. The scene is framed with the new Stitched Frame Stacklets 1.
Here's a closer look at the camper. I think it is the cutest!!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Birdhouse
Hi Everyone! I really do appreciate you stopping by my blog! It is time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Birdhouse.
I hope you get a chance to play along. The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge.
Here is my take on the the challenge using the Stamp Set from Penny Black.
The birdhouse is colored with Copic Markers and centered in a circle I cut directly into the card front. Behind the circle I layered card stock and piece of vellum.
I added a few extra touches with sequins and lace.
Stop by the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Birdhouse for the challenge details and to play along with us!

The Wedding is Finally Here!
You may have noticed that my blog has been a little quiet lately. Well, after a year of planning my dear daughter Lisa is getting married this weekend to her college sweetheart Zack.
Here are a few engagement pictures taken in Balboa Park in San Diego. I share some wedding pictures soon!

Wishing You A Groovy Birthday
Hi Friends! Hope your week is going well. I am popping in today with a fun card I created for the Taylored Expressions May Release. No how many years go by a VW Beetle can still make your smile!
I started by cutting a panel of watercolor paper for the card front. I stamped a sentiment for the Go Beep Stamp Set and embossed with white embossing powder. Next I sponged on Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Shabby Shutters, and Peeled Paint and spritzed the paper with water.
I added the road detail with the Build a Scene - On the Road Die.
The On the Road - Beetle creates the cutest car. I love all the detail! I used a silver foil paper for the wheels well and the bumper. To add a little extra detail I used the Little Bits - Sun & Clouds Die.
Have a great week! Here are the products I used to create by card:
