For my projects today, I am showcasing the new Laina Lamb Stamp Set, Document It - Holiday Traditions and the coordinating Die-namics, Accent It - Holiday Traditions Elements.
I have created a two page layout, combining a 12 x 12 scrapbook page and a pocket page layout. I love the creative process of developing a 12 by 12 page, but I appreciate the time saving aspect of pocket pages. So most of my scrapbooks are a combination of both, but still reflect my style.
The pictures in this post are from Christmas 2008. I like to pick my favorite photos for my 12 x 12 page. The patterned paper is from Teresa Collins.
I started by stamping snowflakes from the new Sophisticated Snowflakes Stamp Set in Sweet Tooth Ink and them embossed them with white embossing powder.
Here is a closer look at the snowflakes. I love the elegant look of these.
I embellished the page with elements from the Document It - Holiday Traditions Stamp Set. I love the Seal of Approval! The small snowflakes are from the stamp set. I again stamped in Sweet Tooth Ink on Black Licorice Card Stock and used white embossing powder. The red snowflakes are cut with the Let It Snowflakes Die-namics.
Another cute stamp from the set!
Here "Merry" is cut out with the new Little Letters Die-namics. I really like the size of this alphabet, great for scrapping and cards. "Traditions" is cut with one of the word dies in the Accent It - December Memories Die-namics.
This little label is also part of the stamp set.
When I used a pocket page I like to make a few easy inserts to accent the page. This card fits the 4" x 6" pocket. The Tradition stamp and the small snowflakes are from the Document It - Holiday Traditions Stamp Set. "Christmas" is cut with the Christmas Greetings Die-namics and the year is added with the new Little Letters Die-namics.
Then I used the Tree Lines and Snow Drifts Die-namics to add the snow and trees.
Here I used the Insert It - InstaFrame Die-namics, cutting the frame from corrugated papers. "Memories" is cut with one of the dies in the Accent It - December Memories Die-namics and the small holly leaves are from the Christmas Ornaments Die-namics.
This insert card is cut with the Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics. Then I used another stamp from the Document It - Holiday Traditions Stamp Set, the Dainty Doily Duo, and the Let It Snowflakes Die-namics.
And on the last card I used the lined stamp in the Journal It - For the Record Stamp Set to insert a journaling card.
Here's a look at the page all put together.
And here are the two pages together.
I hope you have enjoyed this release as much as I have!
