CTD 268 - Good Times

Thanks for stopping by for Color Throwdown 268! This week Tammy's turn to host the challenge. For inspiration she chose this pretty window scene. 

And here my scrapbook page based on the color challenge.

The picture is from my daughter Kayley's Senior Year of High right before they went on their Senior Cruise. 

I started by laying down my pattern paper on a 12 x 12 sheet of black card stock. Then I used the Checkerboard Stencil, a sponge, Pink Lemonade Ink to add the pattern to the background. 

This sentiment is cut with a die in the Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics.

I added the flowers with the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose, Pretty Posies, and Royal Leaves Die-namics. The orange flower is from my stash. The border is cut with the largest die in the Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics. I added the little ship with the ship die in the Accent It - World Traveler Die-namics. 

The sentiment I added is from the Stylish Friends Stamp Set. I created a little place for journaling with the line stamp in the Journal It - For the Record Stamp Set and cut it out with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.
