MFT's May Teaser Day 1 - Wildflowers

Welcome to Day 1 of MFT's May Release! This month we are bringing you 11 new Stamp Sets, 12 new Die-namics, and a new Triple Scoop.

Today I have a card to share using the new Lisa Johnson Stamp Set, Peaceful Wildflowers, the coordinating Die-namics, Wildflowers along with a couple other new products.

Be sure to leave comments as you go! You can stop by the MFT Blog for all the release details, prize information ( it big, you want to check it out!) and more inspiration.

I started by creating a frame from corrugated paper, cutting it out once with a die in the Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX and then cutting the center with a die in the the Die-namics Rectangle STAX Set 1.

Behind the frame I used a piece of canvas. I sponged Sno Cone Ink onto the canvas and then stamped the pattern with a stamp by a new designer for MFT, our own Mona Pendleton! I admire Mona's work so much and have followed her blog for years. She definitely inspires me and I can't wait to work with the products she comes up with. Here I used the new MPD Distressed Background Blocks.

The grass is created with the Die-namics Grassy Edges and cut from Gumdrop Green Cardstock.

Here is look at the second new line of products being added to the MFT product line, Stencils! I used the new Mini Chicken Wire Stencil to create the pattern using a distress ink pad and a sponge.

I used MFT Card Stock in Black Licorice, Sno Cone and Whip Cream, and ribbon in Black Licorice.

Here is a closer look the pretty wildflowers, stamped in MFT Ink in Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop, Orange Fizz, and Gumdrop Green.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set.
