Welcome to the MFT January Scrap Sketch!

Each month we will provide a sketch for a scrapbook page. Simply follow the sketch and upload your creation to SCS using the proper keyword MFTSCRAP4.

There will be a random draw each month from all the participants who have uploaded their Scrap Samples to SCS using the proper keyword. Two winners will be chosen each month and the winners will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winner used MFT stamps, they will receive $ 5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20.

Check out the FAQ - MFT Scrapbooking Challenge thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your sample to the gallery.

Here is my take on the sketch. The photos are from a recent trip my husband and I made to Napa Valley.

The patterned paper are from Websters Pages and the bottom border is cut with the Die-namics Mini Ticket Strip Border.

To create my journaling card I stamped the notebook paper in brown ink with a stamp from the LLD Journal It - For the Record Stamp Set. The journal card is cut out with the Circle STAX Die-namics 1 and 2.

The Captured Moment sentiment is from the LLD Document It - Captured Memories Stamp Set and cut out and matted with the Fishtail Banner STAX. The season, month, and year stamps are from the LLD Journal It - Calendar Basics and the LLD Document It - Days and Dates Stamp Sets.

I added the cute, little camera with the Die-namics Accent It - Cute Cameras.

Here I added a wine glass from corrugated paper with one of the dies in the Die-namics Let’s Toast.

This embellishment used the Leaf-Filled Flourish and the Pretty Posies Die-namics. I used MFT Card Stock in Wild Cherry and Kraft.

The word NAPA is spelled out with the Die-namics High-Rise Alphabet Uppercase. The sentiment is from the LLD Document It - Days and Dates Stamp Set. The sentiment and the little arrow are cut out with the Die-namics LLD Accent It - Flags & Tags.
