I made cards for two of the Hope You Can Cling to Challenges using MFT stamps.
My first card uses the Just My Type Die-namics and Stamp Set and Beate's Rays of Hope Challenge for inspiration. The challenge is to to show hope in your cards by creating a project mostly in gray tones, but add one splash of color.
My papers are from My Minds Eye the Sweetest Thing Honey and I used MFT cardstock in Steel Grey and Whip Cream. The border is cut with the Scalloped Scallop Border Die.
The sentiment is from the stamp set. I added two MFT buttons in Steel Grey, and threaded with Hemp Cord and ribbon in Pink Lemonade.
My next card uses the sweet PI Paper Dolls and is based on Lori's Challenge, Make a card or two for the kiddos! These could be for a child who is called to stand strong much too early by fighting or a child that needs a little extra lovin' while mom or dad focuses on getting well.
My papers are from Echo park For the Record Tailored. I used two MFT Border Die-namics, Paper Dolls and the Simply Scallops Medium Die. I accented my card with a MFT Button in Spearmint, ribbon in Bubblegum, and Bakers Twine in Charcoal. I also used MFT cardstock in Black Licorice and Bubblegum.
She is colored with Copics and her dress is paper pieced. The sentiment just seem perfect for the challenge.
Thank for stopping by. Hope you get a chance to create something today!
