My Favorite Things and Buttons Galore Blog Hop

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today!  My Favorite Things has teamed up with Buttons Galore & More to do a Blog Hop showcasing products from both companies!  To see the entire list of participating designers, please head to the MFT Blog.  You'll want to leave a comment on EACH designer's blog because there is $100 in prizes up for grabs.  MFT will be giving away 2, $25 Gift Certificates, and Buttons Galore & More will be giving away 2, $25 button assortments.  The deadline to comment is July 29th and the winners of all prizes will be announced on July 30th on the MFT and BG&M blogs, so check back to see if you've won!

I created this Thank You card using MFT Die-namics and stamps and the button from Buttons Galore in Berrylicious.

My sentiment if from MFT Big Greetings and it is cut out with one of the dies in the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. The Scallop Border is cut with the Simply Scallops Large Die-namics.

I created a pattern to lay out my buttons in the shape of a heart with the Layered Hearts Die-namics.

I glued down my pattern and then glued the buttons over the pattern. Then I lightly coated with buttons with Glossy Accents and sprinkled on glitter. Lace and twine finish off the card.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Big Greetings and used the Layered Hearts Die-namics to cut out my hearts.

Thanks for stopping my today! I hope you enjoy the hop!

  10. I love this femine card, with the pink buttons in the shape of a heart! The different sizes, and types of buttons added nice interest. I love the pink floral paper peaking out, and love your choice of paper to place the buttons on. The layering is nice with the pale pink and darker color just showing in the background. I love the use of the cream cotton lace and the the beige and green papers, and that you used the scallops on the botton. So pretty! The stitching is a nice touch. Thank you for sharing.
