MFT March Creative Challenge

Hi and thanks for stopping by today! It is time again for MFT'S Creative Challenge.  Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique.

This month's Creative Challenge is to make teacher themed project. Teacher Appreciation is in May, so why not join us and get your projects started early!

I started with an inexpensive notebook from Target. First I covered the notebook in black cardstock. I used WTG Teacher's Pet stamp set. I colored the image with Copics and paper pieced her shirt. I also added a sentiment from the stamp set.

My papers are from Graphic 45, An ABC Primer. I also added a couple of embellishments from my stash.

I also covered the front and back panels of the notebook.

On the front inside I made a pocket from a small kraft envelope. My idea was to add a gift card to the pocket as part of the gift, and then the pocket could be also used later for other items. My top border is cut with the Dainty Doily Border
Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have great ideas to share with you today!

  1. How fabulous! I love the idea of a journal - the preschool teachers are always telling us the funny things our kids say during class and she always wants to write them down. I'm SO casing this! So cute!!
