MFT'S June Release Blog Hop and Shop!!

My projects for the hop are all about the new Pretty Pocket Die-namics and Stamp Set! This new set is so FUN, and versatile!! My first project is very girly and I even forced myself out of my comfort zone and used bright colors!


I used the Pretty Pocket die to cut out my pocket from some DP and then stamped the stitching. Then I cut out two set of leaves with the new Leafy Flourish Die-namics. The flowers are part of stamp set. I colored them with copics and cut them out.


Notice the cute little pocket tab! I stamped "friend" and added it to the pocket. I used black rhinestone and Bakers Twine in Charcoal. The papers are from Websters Pages.


I added a little tag to my pocket. This is what it looks like when you pull it out of the pocket.



On the inside I used a fun Websters Pages DP and stamped the flower and leaves from the stamp set.

Next up, a fun gift bag I made for a boy using more bright colors!!


I used the Pretty Pocket Die to cut my pocket from denim and added the stitching with my sewing machine. I also added a denim scallop border with the Simply Scallops Large Die-namics.


I added the tab stamped with the happy sentiment. The stamped stars are included in the stamp set and the other stars are cut with the Stacking Stars Die.

I added a gift card to the pocket and plan to add some other surprises in the bag!
