Wreathed In Joy Cardmaking Kit

 Hi Crafters! I am back from vacation just in time to celebrate Christmas in July with the new Wreathed in Joy Cardmaking Kit from Taylored Expressions. This kit is perfect to kick off your holiday crafting early! The kit and coordinating accessories includes a 6″x6″ red rubber stamp as the base to create the elements for your projects, stencils to add the details, and the grouped dies to cut everything out easily.

For my first two cards I went with a classic red, green, and black color scheme. To create the wreath I stamped the branches and then used the coordinating stencils to add the leaves and berries. Then I just added the stamped J and Y to each sides of the wreath with foam strips. 

To create the pretty background I stamped the Vintage Sprigs Background Stamp in Cherry Pop Ink on Cherry Pop Cardstock. The sentiment is included in the Fly Your Flag 2 Die & Clear Combo. I added a few Bits & Pieces - Red Glitter Drops.

On my second card I made the wreath the focal point of the card, adding a few extra branches to the top of the wreath. I hung the wreath with a piece of baker's twine. 

The Vintage Sprigs Background Stamp makes such a pretty background and I think it could be used for cards throughout the year. 

I have one more card to share. On this card I used a color scheme of Fruit Punch, Mint Julep, Spearmint, and gold. It is fun to experiment with different color combos for my holiday cards.

 I stamped the J and Y in Versamrk Ink and embossed with TE Gold Embossing Powder. 

On the inside I added The Insiders - Wreathed in Joy panels. These are perfect for all my Christmas cards!

Wreathed In Joy Cardmaking Kit

The Second Chance Release

Hi All! Today Taylored Expressions is releasing releasing the free gifts with purchase of $100+ that were previously offered from January - June. We've also added new products that coordinate with these products. All the new products are available now in the TE Store. 

First up is the Berry Sweet Stencil and Clear Combo, the Berry Sweet Dies, and the Berry Basket. I started by stenciling the background with the inks linked below. I used a white gel pen to add the accents to the berries. 

Next I die cut the basket from Salt Water Taffy Cardstock and filled the basket with the strawberries I die cut with the Sweet Berries Dies. 

I stamped a sentiment from the set and added it to the front of the card. I added a panel of vellum so that the basket stood out from the background. 

Next is a look at the Big Happy Cling and Clear Combo, the Big Happy Die, and the Big Happy Add On Dies that die cut the smaller sentiment. 

I stamped the sentiment is a number of different inks using TE Teal Tape to help me stamp so many colors. I splattered a little white paint and then added the Rhinestones. 

This pretty background is stenciled with the Beautiful Bountiful Stencil. This is a set of four stencils. I used Lime Zest, Sweet Basil, Confetti Cake, Macaroon, and Dried Fig inks. 

The sentiment is included in the All Together Occassion 2 Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating dies. I added the flowers with the previously released Garden Variety Dies.

The Surprise Box from Papertrey Ink

First Christmas Card of 2023!

Since it is July I will have a few Christmas in July projects to share with you this month. It's never too early to start collecting inspiration and creating for the holidays! Today I am sharing my first holiday card for 2023. I used some Spellbinders products along with the new Poinsettia Joy" Wax Seal Stamp, from the July Wax Seal Club. The Wax Seal Club of the month is a new club Spellbinders just added to their club lineup. The kit includes one wax seal and a bag of wax beads. 

First step is create this beautiful deer. I used the The Magical Deer Etched Dies with the cardstocks I have listed below. I love all the details on the die cuts and elegant antlers. I added the smallest gold gems in the Gold Mix Gems to the center of the die cut flowers. 

Here is a closer look at the wax seal. I purchased the Wax Seal Starter Kit a while ago but this is the first time I have used it. It is so fun and easy to use. I love the detail on the Poinsettia Joy" Wax Seal Stamp. After the wax had cooled I used a DecoColor by Marvy Uchida Premium Gold Metallic Marker to highlight the design. 

I embossed the card front with the Scenic Poinsettias 3D Embossing Folder. Then I added a panel of vellum with an embossed sentiment from the  Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. The bottom border is die cut with the Winder Borders Etched Dies. 

The new club has been popular and is close to selling out. But Spellbinders will have some more in the future.

First Christmas Card of 2023!
