Hi and welcome to Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink October Release Countdown. Today I have a new addition to the Vase Collection and beautiful new floral dies. Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EST, Thursday, October 20th.
Here is my first card. Let's start with the background. I used the new Fanciful Snowflakes Background Hot Foil Plate with gold foil. I used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System with the plate and gold foil. The gold on the Tropical Teal Cardstock is striking.
The flowers and leaves are created with the new Into the Blooms: Gardenias. I cut all the pieces from Stamper's Select White Cardstock. On the flowers I just added a little Lemon Tart Ink. I used Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado Ink for the leaves.
The sentiment is from the Just Sentiments: Peace Stamp Set and die cut with the Love to Layer: Circles.

Next up is a look at the new Vase Collection 13. I stamped the vase in Spring Rain Ink and added the details with Blueberry Sky Ink. The flowers and greenery are stamped with the previously released Vase Collection 12. The sentiment is from the new Just Sentiments: Believe Stamp Set.
To create the card front I cut a panel of white cardstock with the Elegant Edges: Snowflakes Die. Then I stenciled the top half with the Geometric Snowflake Stencil and added a piece of patterned paper from the Bitty Big Collection: Blueberry Sky behind the die cuts.

Beautiful cards! Using a blue background for the new vase totally makes it look more winter like. The green makes the Gardenias pop beautifully! The gold shimmer says holidays.
