Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I have a birthday card to share today using one my favorite Paper Smooches Stamp Sets, Blossoming Buds. 


Then sentiment is from the Salutations Stamp Set. I sponged the background with a pale, yellow ink to keep the soft look, used foam tape to build up the shaker, and added a piece of clear acetate behind the card front. 


The flower image is colored with Copic Markers and I added a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella Clear Pen. The stamped image is die cut with the Blossom Icons Dies.

    Hi Melody. I saw your wonderful card in a PS post and I just had to come over and tell you that it just made me swoon! It is so beautifully done - every detail - your coloring, the placement of the die cut, the sponging, the DP, the twine - it is altogether fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration.
