Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today is the beginning of MFT's October Release Countdown and it's time to start thinking about the Holidays!! This month we are bringing you 9 new Stamp Sets, 17 new Die-namics, 2 new MIX-ables Stencils, and a new Free with $60 Die-namics!
I always look forward to the Christmas Holiday Release and start of creating for the holidays! I am starting off the release with Lisa Johnson's Christmas Labels and Tags Stamp Set and the coordinating Christmas Labels and Tags Die-namics. I have a number of ideas for using the new sets.
First up is a simple gift idea using a Bell Jar. I stamped the sentiment with one of the stamps in the Christmas Labels and Tags Stamp Set in Sweet Tooth Ink on Wild Cherry Card Stock and embossed the image with white embossing powder. I die cut the label with the Christmas Labels and Tags Die-namics and matted the label on an oval cut with another new die set being released this month, the Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics.
The second "to and from" tag on the top of the jar is also put together with the Christmas Labels and Tags Stamp Set and Die-namics. On the top of the jar I used the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to cut a circle to cover the lid and added a knob from my stash.
Next I used the Christmas Labels and Tags Stamp Set and Die-namics to create this card.
How pretty is the background! I used the new Snowflake Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics to die cut the background using Smooth White Card Stock.
The background on the oval matting is stamped with another stamp being release this month, the Snowfall Background. I added a strip of MFT Ribbon in Wild Cherry.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from another new stamp set being released for the holidays, Merry Messages. The snowflake is cut with the Let It Snowflake Die-namics.
My last project with the set is a simple tag to dress up a package. The base of the tag is cut with another new Die-namics set being released this month, the Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics.
I used several other new products being release this month to create my tag, the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, the Herringbone Bricks Stencil, and the trees with a die in the new Tag Builder Blueprints 2 Die-namics.
