Thanks for stopping by today for Day 1 of MFT's September Release Countdown! The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, will be available tonight at 10 PM EST.
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects and for your chance to win one of seven, $75 Gift Certificates.
Today I have a card to share using the new Cute Critters Stamp Set and the coordinating Cute Critters Die-namics.
The background is stamped with the new Burlap Background Stamp, using Kraft Ink on Kraft Card Stock. The sentiment is from the stamp set, stamped in Whip Cream Ink and embossed with Ivory Embossing Powder. The sentiment is cut out with the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics.
To create the circle in the middle of my card I first used the Stitchable Dot Circle STAX Die-namics, and then cut the center with the Circle Stax 1 Die-namics. Then I laced Hemp Cord through the pierced holes.
The background behind the image is created with the Snow Drifts Die-namics and a piece of vellum and Banana Split Card Stock. The squirrel an acorn are colored Copics and die cut with the Cute Critters Die-namics.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the Cute Critters Stamp Set.
Here are the products I used on my projects. Links to the new products will go live at release time.

ReplyDeleteI like the stitching on the Burlap layer, and that sentiment--I love how "nuts" is not straight across but has that jumbled look. Great job on your card.
