MFT's September Release Countdown Begins!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today is the beginning of MFT's September Release Countdown, just 7 Days until our new release. This month we are bringing you 11 new Stamp Sets, 14 new Die-namics, 3 new MIX-ables Stencils, and a new Free with $60 Die-namics!

Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects.

What’s better than 90 minutes of partying? How about an entire week! MFT is expanding on our traditional Release Night party and turning it into a Release Week Social. Drop in any time over the course of our Release Countdown to say hi, and to share excitement over the products we’re introducing and the projects our designers have created to showcase them. Join us HERE right now and get to chatting - we can’t wait to hear what you think of our September release.

I am starting off the week with a couple of cards using the new Blueprints 19 and the new Out On a Limb Stamp Set and Die-namics.

I cut the frame for this card from corrugated paper with a die in the new Blueprints 19. The hill is cut with the Snow Drifts Die-namics. I love the sentiment, which is included in the Out On A Limb Stamp Set. The sentiment is cut out with the Oval STAX Die-namics.

Here's a closer look. You can see that I stamped the hill and the leaves with the Linen Background Stamp, using Gumdrop Green. Ink on Gumdrop Green Card Stock. The tree, leaves and the sun are cut with dies in the Out On A Limb Die-namics. I added a coat of MIX-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment in the Out On A Limb Set.

The layout on my second card is created with dies that are included in Blueprints 19.  The frame is cut with a die in Blueprints 19,  but this time I cut the frame from a lightweight chipboard, added a top coat of embossing ink and then embossed with Embossing Enamel.

The background is stamped with a new Background Stamp being released this month, Fine Check Background. The sentiments are from the new Mason Jar Labels Stamp Set.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the new Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set.

  8. Your two cards gave me a feel of being at two different places. The first one put my mind as being in the woods, and the second I felt like the beach. Great job on both of them.

  12. Melody, my favorite is the sparkly sun and corrugated frame -- clever textural additions! I can see this as a great scrapbooking idea too -- the new leaf on the family tree for a birth and a marriage -- fun stuff! And of course, as just embellishing fun pages for spring, autumn, winter, Halloween, spring, ...
