MFT's August Release Countdown Begins!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today is the beginning of MFT's August Release Countdown, just 7 Days until our new release. This month we are bringing you 11 new Stamp Sets, 13 new Die-namics, 2 new MIX-ables Stencils, and a new Free with $60 Die-namics!

I always look forward to the holiday releases! This month we are getting started with some fun Halloween stamps and dies. My project today uses the new Trick or Treat Stamp Set and coordinating Die-namics.

I used the new sets to create this Halloween card and treat box.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Trick or Treat Stamp Set in Sweet Tooth Ink and embossed with white embossing powder on Black Licorice Card Stock. I used the new Stitchable Dot Circle STAX Die-namics and the Circle STAX Die-namics to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment is matted on a circle cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

Then I used green embroidery floss to add the hand stitching.

The witch's kettle is included in the Trick or Treat Stamp Set and the cut out with dies in the Trick or Treat Die-namics, as is the moon and the bat. I added a coat of Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze to the bat.

The background is stamped with another new stamp being release this month, the Cheesecloth Background. The Sour Apple strip of Card Stock is cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics.

The sentiment on the inside is stamped with the new Spooky Sentiments Stamp Set.

I created the treat bag with the Paper Bag Treat Box Die-namics and additional stamps and dies from the Treat or Trick Stamp Set and Die-namics.
