Thanks for stopping by for MFT's May Rewind - Part 1! The MFT Team has another two days of inspiration for you using using newly released products that are available HERE NOW. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.
Today I am playing with a new with a number of new products and I have two cards to share with you.
Two of favorite new products of the May Release are the You Were Meant to Sparkle Stamp Set and the Sequins Die-namics.
I started this card by creating the background with one of the new stencils released this month, All Lined Up. I used the stencil with Silver Embossing Paste.
I used the Insert It - InstaFrame Die-namics and Pink Lemonade Card Stock to create my frame. Behind the frame I added Sweet Tooth Card Stock, stamping the pattern with the new Linen Background Stamp.
I cut the sequins from silver glittered card with the Sequins Die-namics, and the flowers from vellum with the new Gerbera Daisy Die-namics. The word "SPARKLE" is from the stamp set, stamped in Sweet Tooth Ink, and embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment is cut out with the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics.
And here's a look at the inside!
My second card uses the new Free with $60 set for this month, You Mean the World to Me Die-namics. This card was quick and easy to put together with just a few Die-namics!
The frame is cut from corrugated paper with the new Rectangle Frames Die-namics.
After I cut the card front with the You Mean the World to Me Die-namics, I backed the world and the sentiment with different color card stock.
The heart is cut with the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics, once from Wild Cherry Card Stock and once from chipboard, adhered together, and then I added a top coat of MIX-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze. I finished off the heart with a button in Wild Cherry and Hemp Cord.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Grand Greeting Stamp Set.
