MFT'S March Release Countdown Day 7 - Easter Tags

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today is the beginning of MFT's March Release Countdown, just 7 Days until our March Release. This month we have 11 new Stamp Sets, 13 new Die-namics, 3 new MIX-ables Stencils, and a new Free with $60 Die-namics!

Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects.

I am starting off the release with the new Lisa Johnson Designs Easter Bunny Stamp Set and coordinating Die-namics. My first project with the new sets are four Easter Tags, perfect for dressing up a basket, a gift, or chocolate bunny!

The base for all my tags are cut with the Tradition Tags STAX Die-namics and the Pierced Traditional STAX Die-namics.

I used a couple of other new products on this tag. The background is stamped with the new Plank Background Stamps with Natural Ink on Natural Card Stock. The grass is created with the new Tall Grassy Edges along with the previously release Grassy Edges.

The bunny is cut in felt in Whip Cream and the sentiment is from the new stamp set. The flower is created with the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics and I brushed a little Gesso on the edges.

On my second tag I stamped the bunny in Sweet Tooth Ink, sprinkled on embossing powder, and used my heat gun. On the background I used one of the new stencils being release this month, Sun Ray.

The fence is added with the Picket Fence Die-namics.

On this tag I used the sentiment, basket, flower, leaves and carrots that are included in the stamp set. I really like the basket and flowers, great year round.

On my final tag I added Easter Eggs to the basket and a couple of carrots, mounted on a circle cut with the Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics and the Dainty Doily Duo.

Here are the details about the upcoming release:
  • You can attend the New Release Party on March 11th from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum.
