Color Throwdown #284

Thanks for stopping by for Color Throwdown 284! Barbara is hosting this weeks challenge! She has chosen pretty shades of blues and purples for us to work with this week. 

I hope you get a chance to play along for a chance to be next week's Guest Star Stamper!

I used the colors in the challenge to create this scrapbook page. 

I started by using the Mini Chicken Wire Stencil to add pattern to the background of the page. I used a combination of four different color inks and blended them together with a sponge.

At the right corner of the page I added few sentiments. "Surrounded" is from the Document It - Expand Your View Stamp Set and "LOVE" is cut with the Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics. The longer sentiment is from the Complimentary Greetings Stamp Set.

The doilies on the page are created with the Mini Delicate Doilies Die-namics.

I added a place for journaling with a stamp from the the Journal It - For the Record Stamp Set and cut it out with the Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics. 

The border is added with the Notched Border Die-namics.
