Thanks for stopping by today for Day 1 of MFT's January Release Countdown! The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, will be available tonight at 10 PM EST.
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects and for your chance to win one of seven, $75 Gift Certificates.
Today I have two cards to share using the new Go Overboard Stamp Set and the Let's Get Nautical Die-namics.
I started by creating my background patterns. The stripes are stamped with the new Stripes Background Stamp in Steel Blue Ink on Smooth White Card Stock. The anchor pattern is stamped with a stamp from the Go Overboard Stamp Set in Sno Cone Ink on Sno Cone Card Stock.
I stamped the compass from the Go Overboard Stamp Set and added the ring around it with one of the dies in the Let's Get Nautical Die-namics. The ring is embossed with embossing enamel. The sentiment is from the stamp set and I added twine from my stash.
I spiced up the inside with additional stamps in the Go Overboard Stamp Set.
On my second card I used the Woodgrain Background Stamp to create the patterned background. Here the stripes are sponged with the new Stripes Stencil and Whip Cream Ink. The anchors are embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
I embossed the outside ring and added the waves with the new Making Waves Die-namics and the sun with the Circle STAX Die-namics.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and I added a button in Kraft.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set.
Hope to see you tonight at the New Release Party on February 11th from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum.
Here are the products I used on my projects. Links to the new product will go live at release time.
Thanks for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with my New Product Launch projects.
