CTD275 - Happy Birthday

Thanks for stopping by for Color Throwdown 275! This week is Wanda's turn to host the challenge and here is the inspiration photo she chose for us to work with this week.

Be sure to stop by the Color Throwdown blog for all the details on how you could be next week's Guest Designer.

Here's the card I created based on this week's challenge. Starting off the new year adding to my birthday card stash!

I started by stamping the background with the Sheet Music Background Stamp, with Kraft Ink on Whip Cream Card Stock. On the bottom half of the card I embossed with the Swiss Dot Die-namics.

The border is cut with the Small Scallop Border Die-namics from Black Licorice Felt.

The flower is created with the Rose with Overlay Die-namics and the leaves are die cut with the Layered Leaves Die-namics. I added the pretty doilies with the Delicate Doilies Die-namics.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.

On the inside I added another sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.

You do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge,  just use the closest you have.  Use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD274.  Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
