MFT's November Release Countdown - Family Traditions

Thanks for stopping by for Day 2 of MFT's  November Release Countdown!  Only 2 more days until the release!  Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects.

Today I have a 12 x 12 scrapbook page using Laina Lamb's new stamp set, Document It - Holiday Traditions

This picture was our Christmas card a number of years back . I started by distressing the edges of the lined paper and stitching it to a piece of 12 by 12 Kraft Card Stock. Before I started laying down the  other patterned paper I used the new Abstract Petals Stencil to sponge on the background pattern with Kraft Ink.

At the top I added the word "Memories" with one of the dies in the new Accent It - December Memories Die-namics. I used a number of the cute sentiments and embellishments from the stamp set and cut them out with the Accent It - Holiday Traditions Elements Die-namics.

To create this embellishment I cut the tag with the Pierced Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics, added the doily with the smaller die in the Dainty Doily Duo, and used a couple more stamps from the Document It - Holiday Traditions Stamp Set.

Here I stamped the label from the stamp set and I added the year with the new Little Numbers Die-namics.

Here are the details about the upcoming release:
  • You can attend the New Release Party on November 12th from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum.
