Hi and thanks for stopping by for Day 3 of MFT's September Teasers. Today I have an altered grocery list project to share. I plan to keep this by my phone in the kitchen. Maybe my hubby will actually leave me a note when he uses the last of something!
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day and the list of designers sharing projects.
My project uses a number of new products being released this month.
To create the cover I started with an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of Black Licorice Card Stock. I cut a quarter of an inch off the 11" side and the scored at 5 1/4 and 5 6/8" to form the spine for the notebook paper pads I added inside.
I created the checkered pattern with the new Checkerboard Stencil and Light Molding Paste.
At the top I added a sentiment from the new LLD Journal It - Take Note Stamp Set and cut it out with a coordinating die in the LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics.
The little tag peeking out and the scalloped border are cut with dies in the Blueprints 6 Die-namics. The "bon Appetit" sentiment is from the new All Occasion Place Setting Stamp Set.
The center panel is cut with the largest die in the new Mini Album Fancy Ticket STAX Die-namics and the pattern is created with the Mini Chicken Wire Stencil and Sno Cone Ink on Sno Cone Card Stock.
The notebook paper is one of the stamps in the new LLD Journal It - Take Note Stamp Set and cut out with the LLD Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics.
And isn't this place setting adorable! It is created with the new Place Setting Die-namics. The sentiment is from the All Occasion Place Setting Stamp Set. The silverware is cut from Tim Holtz Foil Card Stock. The place setting is mounted on a doily cut with the smaller die in the Dainty Doily Duo Die-namics.
On the inside I added a pocket to hold receipts or coupons and another sentiment from the LLD Journal It - Take Note Stamp Set .
