Thanks for stopping by for Day 6 of MFT's July Teasers! Did you know that MFT is celebrating their 7th birthday with the the July release! In celebration you will find an number of new stamps and dies that will only be available at mftstamps.com as part of our 7th Birthday Bash! These include Party Balloons, Party Balloons Die-namics, You're Invited, and Happy Birthday Die-namics. I will be introducing you to a number of these new products today.
I love the way these new set are perfect for card making and scrapbooking! I started with a couple of pictures from my daughter Lisa's 24th birthday and papers from Crate Paper.
Before I began my layout I used the new Concentric Circles Stencil and Light Molding Paste to add the stencil design here and there on my page. After the molding paste was dry I sponged on Banana Split Ink and sewing the paper to a 12 x 12 sheet of paper. For a fun, little detail I used silver thread.
I stamped three balloons and cut them out with the Party Balloons and Party Balloons Die-namics. I stamped the balloons in Razzle Berry, Banana Split, and Blu Rasberry Ink.
I used Hemp Cord to add strings to the balloons. To adhere the sting to the page I ran the Hemp Cord through my 1.5" Xyron.
Here is a close up of the sentiment I cut with the new Happy Birthday Die-namics, and the numbers are cut with the new Big Numbers Die-namics.
Here are the details about the upcoming release:
