MFT's August Teasers Day 1!

Hi and welcome to Day 1 of MFT's August Teasers! The August Release kicks off my favorite time of year to create, the Holidays! This month we will start with some fun, and spooky new products!

First up is a card I created with the new Lisa Johnson Stamp Set, Splendid Sunflowers and the coordinating Splendid Sunflowers Die-namics.

The layout of the card is based on one of the sketches included with the new Blueprints 6 Die-namics. And the background pattern is cut with the new Triangle Screen Die-namics.

The flower is created in three steps. First I stamped the sunflower in Lemon Drop Ink, then the center in Kraft  Ink, and finally the outer ring in Hot Fudge Ink. Then I add the Stickles to the ring. The leaves are stamped in Gumdrop Green  Ink. 

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Finishing Flourishes. 

My second project is a sweet, little Halloween Treat Bag. How cute is this little bag, cut with the new Paper Bag Treat Box Die-namics. I cut the bag from Black Licorice Card Stock and used the polka dot stamp from the Distressed Background Blocks Stamp Set with embossing ink and white embossing powder. I added a ribbon handle. 

The sweet image and the sentiment is from the new Pretty Pumpkin Stamp Set. She is colored with Copics and her skirt is paper pieced.
