MFT's May Rewind

Thanks for stopping by for MFT's May Rewind! We are using newly released products that are available NOW. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.

My first project is a scrapbook page and the base of the page is canvas, rather than card stock. I cut of piece of canvas and used my sewing machine to attach to canvas to kraft card stock. Then I painted the canvas with a light coat of tan paint.  Then I used the new Mini Chicken Wire Stencil and the Hot Fudge Ink to create the pattern on the canvas. I also added some burlap.

Inspiration for my layout comes from the sketch challenge at Once Upon A... Sketch. Along with the sketch you were challenged to add a number to your layout. I highlighted the number 21 on the bingo card because when we were on this trip we celebrated my husband birthday on the 21st.

On the left side I added a sentiment with the LLD Document It - Off the Chart Stamp Set and the LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics. "Memories" is added with the LLD Accent It - Story Titles Die-namics.

I used the new LLD Document It - Bingo Stamp Set to create the bingo card and the sentiment. I cut the bingo card out with the LLD Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics and the sentiment with Fishtail Flags STAX and Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics.

The heart is cut from corrugated paper with the Die-namics Heart STAX. The embellishments are from my stash.

I used the LLD Document It - Right This Way Stamp Set to add this sentiment.

Next I used the new MPD Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set and the coordinating dies in the Die-namics MPD Dandelion Stems and Toppers, and Blueprints 3 Die-namics to create my card. I used one of the dies in Blueprints 3 to cut the burlap shape. (You can find my tips for working with burlap HERE.)

I used Gelatos to stamp the flower and added liquid pearls to the center.  The stem is stamped with Gumdrop Green Ink. I also added a Gum Drop Green Button threaded with Hemp Cord

On the inside I added another sentiment from the stamp set.
