MFT'S February Scrap Challenge - Sisters

Welcome to the MFT February Scrap Sketch!

Each month we will provide a sketch for a scrapbook page. Simply follow the sketch and upload your creation to SCS using the proper keyword MFTSCRAP5.

There will be a random draw each month from all the participants who have uploaded their Scrap Samples to SCS using the proper keyword. Two winners will be chosen each month and the winners will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winner used MFT stamps, they will receive $ 5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20.

Check out the FAQ - MFT Scrapbooking Challenge thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your sample to the gallery.

Here my take on the sketch! I love the sketch and this was such a fun page to put together. The pictures are of my two youngest daughters. They are very close in age and very close to each other.

I used the Die-namics By the Letters to spell out the word sisters, but I used the negative of the die cut.

On the first photo I added a tab, cut with the Die-namics File Tab, and a sentiment from LLD Document It - Captured Memories Stamp set. I use MFT Ink in Black Licorice for all the sentiments.

I used the Die-namics Traditional Tags STAX to create my tag and added sentiments from the LLD Document It - Off the Chart Stamp Set.

The heart is added with a die for the Die-namics Heart STAX.

I created this banner with the Die-namics Jumbo Banner Day STAX and added a sentiment from the Complimentary Greetings Stamp Set. The sentiment is cut out with the Oval STAX Die-namics 1 and 2.

I added the banner to the bottom of the photo with the Die-namics Paper Doll Girl Border.

The cute, little camera is cut with the Die-namics LLD Accent It - Cute Cameras

I added the last sentiment with a stamp from the All Smiles Stamp Set and cut it out and matted the sentiment with dies from Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX and Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.

I used MFT Card Stock in Steel Grey and added MFT Buttons threaded with Hemp Cord.

Thanks for stopping by! You can stop by the MFT blog for the list of all the designers that are sharing scrapbook pages today. I hope you get a chance to play along with the sketch challenge. It is a fun one!
