MFT May Teasers Day 2

It's Day 2 of MFT May Teasers and we are sharing projects with two new stamp sets, Inspired by Trees and Two Scoops for Flopsey.

Be sure to leave comments as you look around for a chance to with some teaser prizes.  Each day  two prize vouchers are held by two members of our design team.  You’ll have all week to comment on each of the posts and all winners will be posted on Kim’s blog on Tuesday evening.

I just love the way the Clearly Sentimental Line of MFT stamp, such great shading and detail! I just stamped the tree in brown ink and added a little distressing ink about the edges. Behind the image I added a fence cut out of corrugated paper with the Woodgrain Fence Die-namics. The I added grass cut from patterned paper with the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics.

The tree is cut out with the new Designer Labels I STAX Die-namics. LOVE it!

On the inside I stamped one of the wonderful sentiments and another image from the stamp set.

Something about this design... the elements of the layout (the lush grass & wooden fence), the patterned paper (including a plaid which reminds me of cool fabrics worn during summer months), or the soothing color palette... just completely reminds me of my Grandfather (who is recently deceased)... and I felt all of this before I even scrolled down to read the sentiment inside! I have never been so moved by a handmade card! Thanks for sharing this beautiful work of art. <3
