In 2012, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique.
This month's Creative Challenge will be to make a baby themed project. I used a free baby onesie template that I found here. It makes a great welcome baby card but I think it would also make a cute baby announcement.
I an cut the template out using kraft cardstock and the covered the front with papers from Simple Stories Baby Steps.
To make the collar I used small die in the Dainty Doily Duo, cutting it down to fit the neck.
I used three different dies to make this embellishment. I cut a flower with the Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namics out of My Favorite Felt in Bubble Gum.
My tag is cut with the Notched Tag Die-namics and I stamped a sentiment from the coordinating stamp set. Then I used the Leafy Flourish Die-namcs to cut out my leaves.
I covered the inside of card with patterned paper, added a sentiment from the à la modes - Oh Baby! stamp set, and three little hearts using one the dies in the Notched Tag Die-namics and Stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have great ideas to share with you today!
