MFT's December Teaser Day 5



Hi all and welcome to Day 5 of MFT's December Teasers! Today we are sharing projects with two new à la modes - SKi Bunny and Hot Cocoa Cutie. You can stop by the MFT Blog for the list of all the designers sharing projects today.


This sweet image is call Hot Cocoa Cutie. I thought she would be prefect for little gift of hot cocoa. I had picked up a few packages of Starbucks Hot Cocoa. I used a small kraft bag and covered it with papers from October Afternoon.  I stamped a sentiment from the set on a tab cut with the Bracket Tab Die-Namic.



I used the Tag You're It Die-namic to create my tag. She is colored with Copics and her Cocoa cup is paper pieced. I used a Viva Pearl Pen in Cream on the marshmellows.



I created the flower using the new Fringed Perennial Die-namic and cardstock.  I added a rhinestone to the center of the flower. I used a glue gun to attach the flower to a small clothespin.

    Melody love how the paper of the cup matches w/backround. I love,love the papers used on the craft bag,too! Love your flower and wouldn't have thought to put it on a clothespin!

    The red fringed perennial flower on the clothes pin is awesome!! I love the colour and it really dresses up your gift bag. And,the tag is so pretty. What a beautiful project, Melody!!

    I am in LOVE with your cute project!!! :) Your coloring and paper piecing are so professional and your marshmallows look real (I am going to try that when I finally get to ink up my Who's That Girl Gets Cozy with Cocoa)!

    What a great idea to attach your BEAUTIFUL flower to a clothespin! It's great that it can now be reused & will help keep the cocoa (& other future items) fresh by keeping the bag closed!
