MFT'S November Creative Challenge

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. I used the Homespun Birdhouse Die-namic and Stamp Set for my project. You may not think of the set for the holidays but I give it a holiday twist!! 


I used vintage looking papers from Melissa Frances. I used the Icicle border Die-namic and attach the icicles to the bottom of my roof. I hang the birdhouse on a branch using the Branch With Leaves Die-namics. I finished off with ribbon, stitching, and lace.

I cut a bird to add to the house. The branch, roof, icicles, and ledge are sprinkled with glitter to give the effect of snow.

On the inside I stamped "Merry Christmas" using a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas and "From Our House to Yours" using a sentiment from the Homespun Birdhouse stamp set.
