MFT July Teaser Day 4

Happy 4th of July! I hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend!! We are swimming, putting hamburgers and hot dogs on barbeque and fireworks!

I am here today with Day 4 of MFT's July Teasers.  Today's previews include Inspired by Summer and Perfect Pinwheel. You can stop by Kim's Blog to see the list of designers sharing projects today.




I am using both of the new sets for my project. I have a couple of summer parties coming up so I made a hostess gift set. I just need a little thank you gift for my bag and I am ready to go!


My card uses the tree from Inspired by Summer. I stamped the tree on DP and colored it with Copics. My papers are from Simple Stories, 100 Day of Summers. My gingham ribbon is from the MFT Red Collection.


One of the things I love about the Inspired By Sets is that they stamp beautifully and the shading is done for you.


Notice the cut little ticket die? This is the new Mini Ticket Strip Border Die. Love it! My embellishments are cut from small dies that come in the Notched Tag stamp and die set.


On the inside I just stamped a sentiment from the Inspired by Summer stamp set.


For my gift bag I made a tag with a pinwheel with the new Perfect Pinwheel stamp and die set. The Perfect Pinwheel does make a "perfect" pinwheel. It cuts all the necessary holes. You just bring the tails together and attach a brad! The sentiment is also from the stamp and die set.
