Today we are sharing previews of Jolinne - Always Wear a Smile and Sew Nifty. You can stop by Kim's Blog to see the list of designers sharing project today.
I love all the new stamp sets and dies but I have to admit I have a special place in my heart for Sew Nifty! I learned to sew when I was a teenager and alway had sewing project going throughout my life. And we all know I love to sew on my cards!!
I stamped in the sewing machine and sentiment in black ink on patterned paper and cut it out with the frame that is part of the new You Move Me Stamp and Die set. I stamped the dress form in black ink, cut it out with the dress form die, and paper pieced the dress.
I added a little piece of lace and stitching, of course!
I added black ribbon from the MFT Black Ribbon Collection. I die cut the scissors. I love how the small dies in the set have a little hole to tie them on with or attach with a brad. So Cute!! I used Bakers Twine in Blossom and tied a bow around my black ribbon.
My papers are from Authentique, the Uncommon Collection.
Inside I used the dress form die and a stamp and sentiment for the stamp and die set.
