It is time for
April's Design Team Challenge. This month's theme is
For The Kids and the challenge is to create a children's gift item! You can stop by
Kim's Blog to see all the designers who are participating in the challenge.

For my gift item I created an altered chipboard and pencil holder. The clipboard is from the dollar bin at Staples and the wooden pencil box if from Michael's.
I used the
Typewriter Alphabet stamp set to spell out "Paige". The letters are stamped in black on pink paper and I added clear pebbles to the top of each letter.
My little PI is called
Making a List. She is colored with Copics and then I cut her out.

Before I covered the clipboard I painter the top pink. Then I layered the paper and
scalloped border and added three more
Pretty Posies using the die for the flowers and the centers.

At the top of my clipboard I added a layered
Pretty Posies and added a button and
twine to the center. I am including a small yellow paper pad in my gift set. I covered the top with matching DP.

This was a fun challenge. I can't wait to give my gift to the sweet little girl I had in mind!!
Thanks for stopping by!
