The Pretty Pink Posh May Release - Pretty Peonies

Hi Everyone! It's Release Day at Pretty Pink Posh and I am excited to share the new release with you. Father's Day, Mother's Day, Graduation, a beautiful new flower stamp, and PPP first new stencils!  It is one of my favorite release's to date! You can all the new products HERE.

My first project to share with you is created with the new Peonies Stamp Set and Peonies Coordinating Dies. I love these flowers! They are so pretty and so fun to color. Here I colored with Copic Markers but I am will be trying watercolors next. I arranged the flowers on a card front that was die cut with the new Lattice Background Die. This is a great, classic background die that I know I will use over and over.

Behind the Lattice Background Die I added a sheet of vellum and then a sheet of yellow cardstock for a soft look. The sentiment is from the new Animal Signs Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I added a few Sparkling Clear Jewels. I love the way the jewels look like dew drops on the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by. I will be back with more projects and ideas for the new release.

Joy and Sunshine

Hi Crafty Friends! I have been in my studio creating for a couple of new releases but I wanted to pop in today with a card I created with the Koala Friends Stamp Set from Pretty Pink Posh.

I love these sweet Koalas. I stamped them in black ink and colored with Copic Markers and then die cut with the Koala Friends Coordinating Dies. The umbrella is stamped with the Rainy Days Stamp Set. I stamped the umbrella in Versamark Ink on Navy Cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. The clouds and umbrella handle are die cut with the Rainy Days Coordinating Dies.

I used the Storybook 5 Die to create the card front. I used watercolor paper and Distress Ink in Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans, and Blueprint Sketch. Behind the card front I added a panel of cardstock sponged with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The sentiment is from the Rainy Days Stamp Set. I added a few rain drops with the 4mm Clear Droplets.

I stamped the flowers and leaves in black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I die cut with the Magnolia Flowers Coordinating Dies and splattered the leaves with white, gold, and green paint. I highlighted the flowers with a white gel pen.

I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Friends Stamp Set in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I finished off the card with a scattering of gold sequins from the Metallic Gold Confetti Mix.

Sending Happy Thoughts

Hi Friends! I have a new card to share today created with products from Pretty Pink Posh. The Spring Wreath Stamp Set is one of my favorites from the latest release. This is a pretty clean and simple card, at least for me! But I liked the simple statement the card makes.

I added a light sponging of Oxide Distress Ink in Shabby Shutter to white cardstock and then stamped the wreath in black ink. I colored the image with Copic Markers and then die cut the wreath with the Spring Wreath Coordinating Dies.  I added twine to hang my wreath with and then die cut the bow with the Twine and Bows Dies

I decided I wanted the middle panel to give the appearance of a door so I used my Scor-Pal to score the vertical lines. Then I stamped a sentiment from the Thoughtful Greetings Stamp Set in the middle of the wreath. I added the largest jewel in the Espresso Jewels for the door knob!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Friend

Hi Everyone and happy Friday! We are celebrating some birthdays this weekend so I was in need of a few birthday cards. Seems like I can never have too many birthday cards in my stash! I created this card with products from Pretty Pink Posh, and one of my favorite flowers stamp sets, the Wild Rose Stamp Set.

I stamped the roses in Versamark Ink on watercolor paper and embossed with white embossing powder. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to watercolor the flowers and leaves. I images are die cut with the Wild Rose Coordinating Dies

To create the card front I layered strips of paper. First a strip of patterned paper and then a scalloped border cut the with Stitched Borders Dies from black cardstock. Next I cut a strip of pink cardstock and stamped the birthday sentiment from the Fox Friends Stamp Set along the edge of the strip. The sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set and my final touch is a few Midnight Black Jewels.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! It's April Release Day at Taylored Expressions. All the new products are available at the TE web store NOW. Today I have two more projects to share with you featuring a number of the newly release projects.

I love the modern feel of the new Brimming With Love Stamp Set! I used a combination of Guava, Lemon Meringue, Lavender Glaze, Cupcake, Salt Water Taffy, Peapod, and Lime Zest Ink. But the color combination are endless! You could even go with a seasonal look. The image is die cut with the coordinating Brimming With Love Die.

I used the Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp and the new Grid Background Stamp with my Misti to create the background. Love! The frame is die cut with the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate.

My second card is created with the new Folksy Flower Cutting Plate. There are many ways you can use this cutting plate, making your design as simple or intricate as you would like. On this card I chose to inlay a variety of colors of cardstocks and accent with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

The sentiment is from the new Drop a Note Stamp Set. I stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with TE White Embossing Powder.

Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peeks Day 3 - Babies and Anniversaries

Hi Friends and welcome to Day 3 of Taylored Expressions April Release Sneak Peeks. I have three cards to share today that are perfect for those specials occasions in life, new babies and anniversaries! All the new products will be available tomorrow starting at 9am CDT Thursday, April  4th.

My first card features the new Bubble Greetings - Baby. I went all pink for a little girl! I stamped in Oreo Ink, paper pieced the onesie, and colored with Copic Markers. Then I die cut the panel with the Stitched Square Stacklets and framed the image with the Petite Scallop Square Stacklets. The smaller sentiment is from the new The Inside Scoop - Baby Stamp Set and die cut with the Double Ended Flags Stacklets.

I really love the background on this card! I started by stamping the Buffalo Plaid Background in Cupcake Ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock. The Buffalo Plaid Background was released a few month ago and has been one of my very favorite stamps. This month TE is releasing the Grid Background which works so well with the Buffalo Plaid Background to create this amazing background!

I finished off the card with a die cut flower from the Mini Bloomers 2 Dies and leaves from the Bloomers Greenery.

I stamped one of the great sentiments from the new The Inside Scoop - Baby Stamp Set on the inside of the card and added a few of the left over die cuts.

My second new baby card with created with the new World Map Background. I stamped the background on watercolor paper in Versamark Ink and then embossed with TE White Embossing Powder. I watercolored with TE Liquid Watercolors in Peapod and Cookie Monster.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Handlettered Baby Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on Vellum and embossed with white embossing powder. I added just a touch a lace to the edges of the card front.

It is nice to have the inside of a card finished off and ready to go! Here I lightly stenciled stars with the Scattered Stars Stencil and stamped another sentiment from The Inside Scoop - Baby Stamp Set

My final card features the new Love Story Die, a beautiful silhouette! I die cut with Oreo Cardstock and attached the silhouette with foam tape to give me a little room to attach the balloon strings through the bench. The numbers are die cut with the new Banner Years Numbers Dies from TE Silver Foil and attached to balloons die cut with the Little Bits - Balloons Dies.

I used the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil to create the background with Confetti Ink. The sentiment is from the new The Inside Scoop - Anniversary. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and embossed with TE Silver Embossing Powder. I framed the scene with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets.

On the inside of the card I added a few clouds and stamped another sentiment from The Inside Scoop - Anniversary.

Let's start with the birthday card, created with the new Inky Fingers - Flowers Stamp Set. I used my finger print to add the color to the faces on the flowers. It's a fun idea and and I think it would be a great stamp set for kids to play with. After I added my finger print I added additional details with Copic Markers. The sentiment is also included in the stamp set.

I created the background with the Set the Scene - Cloud Stencil and Confetti Ink. The clouds are die cut with the Stitched Cloud Duo, the butterflies with the Little Bits - Butterflies, and the grass with the Wispy Grass Border.

Next up is a graduation themed card. I created the background with the new Star Fall Background Stamp, stamping in Versamark Ink and embossing with Gold Embossing Powder. I added a strip of black and white paper from the Playful Patterns - Black and White Paper Pack and a small strip of TE Gold Foil.

The graduation caps and sentiment are stamped with the new The Tassel Stamp Set. The caps are die cut with the new Tassel Die and the sentiment with the Banner 1 Die. I added gold sequins to the tops of the caps.
