A Berry Sweet Gift Bag

Today is the final day for MFT's August Teasers. Today the previews include Who's That Harvesting Girl, Garden Goodness, and Clearly Sentimental about Harvest. Stop by Kim's Blog at 11:00 EST for the full list of designers sharing projects today.

And don't forget to join us at the release party tonight in the MFT Forum at Splitcoaststampers at 8:00 pm EST.

For my project I used Who's that Harvesting Girl to make a gift bag to hold a thank you gift I wanted to give a friend.

I covered a brown kraft gift bag with paper from October Afternoon. I used the Die-namic Jumbo Scallop Die for the bottom border and added a ruffle with the ribbon for the Ruffled Ribbon Collection. I also stitched around the edges.

I used a Maya Road canvas tag to make the tag I wanted to add to the bag. The image is colored with Copics. The Copics work great on fabric, you can even do some shading. You just need to be careful not to color to close to the edge of the image, as the color does bleed out a little.

I used a sentiment from the set along with the Framed Greeting die cut and stamp set.

And don't forget:

Each day, there is at least one new stamp set being given away on a designer's blog. To be eligible to win, you'll need to have commented on that designer's blog for that particular day. For your best chance to win, leave a comment on all the designers blog. You can check Kim's blog to see the winners.

Thanks for coming by. I hope to see you at the release party tonight. There will be prizes!
